Apex Family Law was set up by Parminder Kumari. She has specialised in family law since qualification in 2004.
Parminder is a Resolution accredited specialist. Resolution is a group of professionals that believe in a non confrontational approach to the resolution of family disputes, putting the needs of the family and in particular the best wishes of the children first. She has accreditation in dealing with the financial aspects on separation and disputes relating to children.
Parminder has extensive experience in dealing with domestic violence issues and is also fluent in Punjabi and so is able to explain legal terms clearly to those who may not be fluent in English.
Parminder is also a qualified trained family mediator. She is able to offer this service in Punjabi if required.
She has been providing mediation services in Leeds and West Yorkshire along with comprehensive services related to family law in leeds.

Jan recently won the Family Mediator of the Year award at the National Mediators Awards 2018. She qualified as a solicitor in 1980 and has been a mediator for over 27 years. She has extensive experience in all areas of family mediation and is qualified to conduct all issues, financial and child inclusive mediation.
Jan has been a professional practice consultant for over 11 years and has supervised mediators in all areas of work including commercial and employment. She has been involved at national level in formulating policy relating to family mediation and professional practice. She is also a Director and the Chair of the College of Mediators.
Yvette is a registered family mediator with a background in Psychology, Change Management and Personal Development. Her portfolio of work supports people experiencing change in different areas of their life. She has extensive experience of working with individuals and groups to find solutions and adapt to new circumstances.
Yvette is passionate about the advantages of mediation for families. She believes that opportunity to be supported to find their own solutions has far reaching benefits for the family. She advocates mediation as an effective way for people to find resolutions that both last and adapt.
